| Post-Harvest Fest Review & Survey |
For those of you who attended, thanks for coming and please consider taking our survey.
For those of you who missed it, here is a review of the Harvest Fest from Tim Broderick of the North Shore Brewers Homebrew Club:
The Harvest Fest was a chance for fans of Ipswich and Stone Cat ales to tour their favorite brewery and meet the people that make the beer. Over 700 people attended and saw how the beers are made, cared for and bottled. Outside, attendees got to try just about everything Mercury had to offer including cask conditioned versions of the Dark and Harvest Ales. Ipswich Clambake was on hand to serve up a variety of food including clam chowder and steamers. The Orville Giddings Band was rocking the house with their oogie-boogie blues.
Even though the fest was geared towards adults with over 200 kids in attendence, they were not forgotten. Pumpkins were available for to decorate and many varieties of Mercury soda and free popcorn were available.
By the end of the day everyone left with a new appreciation for Mercury beers. The fest was a huge success thanks in part to all the attendees, the staff, and the many volunteers, especially the members of the Northshore Brewers homebrew club. | |
